Stipend
The base stipend for residents is $53,000.
Insurance
Health insurance is available for all positions. Residents will sign-up for insurance through the campus HR system. Residents can sign-up for Dental and Vision insurance for additional costs to them.
Liability Insurance
Professional liability coverage is at the resident's expense. If a resident chooses not to purchase a liability policy, then the resident will be covered under the State Tort Claims Act for Medical Providers.
Leave
Residents receive 13 days of Annual Leave, 13 days of Sick Leave, and 5 days of academic leave. Holidays are based on the OU Health schedule and are listed below.

Professional Expenses
Residents are provided financial assistance to attend a minimum of one conference. Additional reimbursement for licensure expenses and educational materials may also be available. The amount of reimbursement is determined annually by departmental budget.
